CHILDREN’S BOOK CREATORS FOR CONSERVATION FUNDRAISER

The Children’s Book Creators for Conservation (CBCC) 2023 team are super excited to partner with Wild Tomorrow, as we use our creative storytelling skills to create an impact for wildlife in South Africa. Help us to reach our goal of $20,000 to protect rhinos, pangolins, elephants, and all species who share their habitats while uplifting the local rural Zulu community.

Your donation to Wild Tomorrow is tax-deductible.

Read more below about the conservation and community activities our creators will take part in, which you will be directly supporting through your donations.

THIS IS HOW YOUR DONATION WILL BE USED:

Donations raised by the CBCC 2023 team will go towards supporting CARETAKERS who work daily to protect the wildlife and habitat of South Africa. Rangers are the unsung heroes of conservation - protecting the nation’s biodiversity day and night, rain or shine. The CBCC 2023 team would like to show our appreciation to them. Here is where your donations could go:

  • $68 buys a Wildlife Ranger a new pair of boots

  • $265 employs the team of 15 Green Mambas for 1 day - a resilient team of 14 women (and 1 man) who the CBCC 2023 team will work alongside this October!

  • $399 sponsors 1 of Wild Tomorrow’s rangers for 1 month

Your donations will go towards uplifting the COMMUNITY. Everyone must benefit from conserving wild spaces. This includes the people living in the poor rural communities that surround Wild Tomorrow’s protected areas. Assisting them not only improves their lives but reduces their impact on natural resources while increasing support for conservation practices. Here is where your donations may go:

  • $30 feeds 70 school children for 1 day - the CBCC 2023 team will assist in the delivery and cooking of food for these children.

  • $93 provides stipends to 1 teacher at the creche for 1 month

  • $200 feeds 35 school children lunch daily for 1 month
